Formally established in 1962 as the Central Coast Billiards & Snooker Association, the organisation has been successful for many years in providing our membership with avenues to enjoy the great sports of Snooker & Billiards.

Core function is to identify and meet the needs of players, clubs, referees and administrators and in doing so enhance participation experiences and encourage the uptake of the sport.

Whilst we need to respect our heritage and continue to foster, promote and develop Snooker & Billiards on the Central Coast, we now also need to be a modern sporting organisation. This involves striving to grow our sport both on and off the billiard table, positively connecting with the local community and becoming increasingly more professional in all endeavours.

A change in name to Snooker & Billiards Central Coast Incorporated (SBCC) and registration as an incorporated association were both effected in 2017.

SBCC participates as a member of the Billiards & Snooker Association of NSW, , the organisation recognised by government and the majority of playing participants as the peak body for the sport of Snooker & Billiards in NSW. This State/Region relationship conforms to standards set down in terms of how all Sport operates under a Nationally structured system recognised by government.

In brief, SBCC is a not-for-profit Regional Sporting Organisation, established with Objects to conduct, encourage, promote, advance and administer Snooker & Billiards throughout the NSW Central Coast and is the sole controlling body for the sport in the region.

SBCC pursues its Objects primarily via the staging of regular weekly, monthly and annual competitions/tournaments (for both teams and individuals) which are conducted via the use of billiard table facilities situated within various registered club premises and privately-operated rooms throughout the Central Coast.
