Notice of Special General Meeting

Dear Members.
The Board of Snooker & Billiards Central Coast Ltd hereby gives notice of a Special General Meeting to be held at 7:00pm on Wednesday 15th February at the Central Coast Leagues Club.
Members are invited to attend and vote on a Special Resolution to amend the constitution first adopted 16th February 2017.
The Board is proposing two changes to the existing constitution, that are summarised below:
4.0 Individual Members
4.7 (c) insert A current financial member of a Member Club
11.0 The Board
11.2 The board may consist of:
(a) remove Five (5) Directors, who must be elected in accordance with this constitution and who must be individual Members or Life Members of the Association
(a) insert A Director per Member Club, as nominated by that Member Club, who must be an individual Member of a life Member of the Association;
(b) insert Each Member Club is entitled to ONE vote at each Board meeting irrespective of Director numbers present
12.0 Elected Directors replaced by Nominated Directors
(b) insert Be nominated by a Member Club and complete the prescribed nomination form provided for that purpose, as determined from time to time by the Board:
(c) insert Must be an office bearer of their Member Club or Private Club
The Special Resolution will ask that all members present accept the revised constitution finalised 19 January 2023.
